Example 5. Coding of Internet links in radio programs using Web site of Radio Company. The offered invention could have wide application on radio. Using coding of Internet links Radio Company could actively penetrate in Internet, widen coverage and considerably enlarge audience.

For example, in course of preparation of program (for example, performance of singer Maria) editor collects thematic material in Internet, adds it to database of Web site of Radio Company and assigns code to Web page, for example,  - [Maria]. Before and after broadcasting speaker could announce code of Web site, where additional information connected with the radio program is placed. Code could be also distributed through RDS channel. If listener is interested in program, he, using his computer or phone, could enter this code on Web site of Radio Company, to get additional information.  

Together with different informational materials such Web page could contain, for example:

  • Chat for communication of people with similar interests;
  • Program schedule, which could be selected individually with taking into account interest of viewers to this theme;
  • links to thematic Web sites;
  • Context target low-pressure advertising, because it is seen only to viewers interested in particular theme.
  • Forum, through which listener could add his materials (photo, video, articles, etc.).

 

So, during announcement of radio program schedule on Web site of Radio Company or in course of broadcasting individual code is assigned to any radio program. Entering this code on Web page of Radio Company it opens Web page, where the theme this program, as well as, at wish of Radio Company, any other text, graphic, video or audio information, including advertising, are placed.

Code of Web site could be activated after broadcasting of radio program in order not to lose advertisers, who wish to place advertisings during broadcasting of radio program. A listener, who has no possibility to hear program, he is interested in or wish to discuss program with other listeners or to ask questions to participants or authors of program, could visit Web site of Radio Company, enter code of program and open page, where audio record of this program, forum for discussion, as well as other services of Radio Company, for example, context advertising, program schedule, list of broadcasted programs (which also could be heard), counter of visitors of Web page to determine rating of program etc. could be placed. The higher interest of listeners to particular program makes the higher price for placing advertising on Web page, where audio record of program is placed.

Similarly, code could be assigned to advertising materials, which are broadcasted by radio.
